Scooby Dooz Melbourne Cup Races

This years Races were a huge success.  Staff and owners enjoyed an afternoon of Melbourne cup racing in a different style.

Dogs were entered and put into groups according to size and speed.  Each heat did a quick dash across the daycare to their owners or other staff members.  The winners of each heat were then placed into the finals.

And the winners were.....

The Handbag Stakes (small dogs) - Scamp (maltese x)

The Millie Callis Memorial Stakes (medium dogs in memory of Millie) - Dexter (pug x)

The Golden Paw Stakes - (larger dogs) - Chester (kelpie x coolie)
