Winter Grooming

Dont want your dogs coat to go too short in winter??

During the winter months many Grooming clients ask us not to clip their dogs too short.  We love to do longer clips on our furry friends, however with that comes much more responsibility for our pets owners.

To do a longer style clip on your dog, its coat must be in good condition.  Good condition means no knots, no matts and no tight curls.

Scoobydooz suggest combing the coat throughout winter rather than brushing.  Unless using the right brushing techniques your dog can get knots and matts clost ot hte skin while the top coat can be long and flowing.  Owners dont always realise their dogs are matted and can come away disappointed that the clip they desired was not achieved.

Wash and Tidies are a great way to ensure your dogs coat can remain long and in great condition.  We not only wash and comb the coat but we also trim up their feet, face and bottom meaning they can last longer in between clips.

Book in for a wash and tidy today and let Scoobydooz help you to keep your dogs coat in great condition!
